The objective of the initiative is to use data about students and their activities to help understand their engagement with programs and services.

Then, any correlations between students behaviour with regard to program participation, service access and online engagement to improved academic performance and retention, enhanced employability and greater satisfaction.

Understand if there is a correlation between the services and programs offered and student success.

Following on from this the University wanted the ability to make information-based decisions with regard to which programs and services require additional resources; which ones are no longer providing any benefit to students and if there are any gaps in service provision that need to be filled.

We created a unique data schema that allowed us to take data from all different sources and products seamlessly and be correlated for analysis.

We then created a bespoke evaluation methodology that would understand the impact on student experience, engagement and development and assist with operational effectiveness, from all different sections of the student experience.
